This Privacy Policy explains how the Click Speed Test ("CPS Test", "we", "the site") handles information when you use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we store

• On your device (localStorage): your personal best scores and the name you last entered for the leaderboard. This stays in your browser and is never sent to us unless you submit a score. You can clear it anytime via your browser settings.
• Leaderboard submissions: if you choose to submit a score, the name you type, your score (CPS), and the test mode are stored on our server so the score can appear on the public leaderboard. Don't enter personal information as your name.
• Server logs: our web server may record standard technical data (IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and rate-limiting. These logs are not used to identify you and are rotated/discarded over time.

Cookies and advertising

The core test does not require cookies. If advertising is enabled on this site, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites.

• Don't submit a leaderboard score if you prefer not to store a name on our server.
